The aim is to make the whole process for each child to be a fun and positive experience. I want it to be far from the memories of school photos I experienced as a child, being frozen in front of a camera with a forced smile and having to say cheese.
I don’t use a studio background but instead, I work with the architecture of the school buildings, often outside where children can be relaxed and I get more natural and relaxed photos.
For over 10 years I have been a school and preschool photographer. Also, as a Mum myself, I have a good understanding of what parents are looking for from school photographs.
Preschool and School Photography
Working alongside primary schools and nurseries for many years, I understand that every school is different. Always ensuring that I give time to each setting. This is to work with their schedules and timetables ensuring that the session is not pressured for the Teachers and Room Leaders and most importantly the children.
On each annual visit, I will seek to use different areas of the space available to me, so that photographs for existing parents look fresh and different from previous years.
Experienced in working extensively with SEN children and I have developed a successful approach to photographing children with different needs and sensitivities.
After the photo session, each child will receive all the details of their online gallery for them to access their gallery through my website. Parents will receive at least 6 photo choices in different colour and black and white options. Parents pay online, so there is no paperwork and money to be administered by the school or preschool.

Additionally, for schools, I can provide a digital or printed headshot of each child for the school’s internal records.
Alongside my school photography, I provide documentary school and preschool photos for their websites. I look to capture the feel of each school and its nurturing environment. Other school services, I can provide are staff headshots, leavers presents and also Year 6 leavers books.
