What It’s Like to Work With Me

Let’s be real—most people feel awkward about being photographed. My job is to make that awkwardness disappear. I keep things natural, relaxed, and fun, so you can enjoy the experience while I capture the moments that really matter.

The best photos aren’t forced—they’re the big belly laughs, secret smiles, and those quiet moments where you forget the camera is even there. Whether it’s your wedding day or a family session, my aim is to tell your story, your way. Think of me as part of the celebration, blending in while making sure every moment is beautifully documented.

]How It All Started

Photography has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. When I was young, I’d snap away with an old Kodak cassette camera, capturing anything and everything that caught my eye. Fast forward a few years, and when my youngest daughter turned two, my husband surprised me with my first DSLR camera.

At the time, our children were little, and I wanted to preserve those fleeting moments— the big smiles, and all the everyday chaos that comes with young kids. That camera reignited my love for photography and set me on a journey I never expected. Today, I feel so lucky to call this my career. Whether it’s documenting a heartfelt wedding day or a fun-filled family gathering, I get to turn real, meaningful moments into memories you can hold onto forever.

My Style of Photography

My style is colourful, timeless, and true to life. I don’t rely on heavy filters or trends that could date your images (think sepia tones or colour-popping a bouquet). Instead, I focus on creating photographs with a rich, natural colour palette that reflects your day as it really happened.

As a documentary reportage photographer, I specialise in capturing moments as they naturally unfold—photos taken when people don’t even realise they’re being photographed. Whether it’s a heartfelt laugh, a fleeting glance, or a spontaneous hug, these genuine interactions are the ones that tell the story of your day.

Your wedding or family session is full of vibrant details—whether it’s the deep green of a countryside venue, the soft pastel tones of your florals, or the golden hues of a sunset. I want these colours to shine through in your photos, so they feel as fresh and beautiful in 20 years as they do today.

What I Want for My Couples on Their Wedding Day

I absolutely love weddings. Honestly, there’s not a single part of the day that I don’t enjoy. For me, photos aren’t just images—they’re a way to spark conversations, bring back memories, and relive the emotions of those moments all over again.

So why have a wedding photographer? Because your wedding day is like no other. It’s not every day that all the most important people in your life come together to celebrate you. This day is filled with love, laughter, and all the little details you’ve carefully planned. But with so much happening, it’s easy to miss some of those magical moments in the whirlwind of it all.

That’s where I come in.

I want to capture it all—the big moments, the quiet ones, and everything in between. The reactions, the hugs, the tears of joy, the belly laughs—I’ll be there to document your day from start to finish.

When you look at your photos, I want them to make you smile, laugh, maybe even shed a happy tear. Most of all, I want them to remind you just how incredible your wedding day really was.
