It's such a picturesque addition since 2023 and I was the first to Delapre Abbey Wedding photographer to capture their first outside ceremony.

The Bridal Party can experience the convenience of onsite wedding accommodation, where the bride and her entourage can prepare for the big day in a charming 2 bedroom cottage overlooking Delapre Abbey's private gardens.
The main bridal bedroom boasts exquisite natural light and panoramic vistas from three sides, creating a perfect area for wedding hair and make-up to be applied and perfect for bridal prep photographs.
The cottage is complete with a cosy lounge, dining room, and fully equipped kitchen, this accommodation ensures a relaxed and memorable prelude to your special day.

Every time I visit Delapré Abbey for a photo session, I'm reminded of its magical atmosphere and the variety of stunning backdrops it offers for me as a Delapre Abbey wedding photographer. The walled garden, with its array of colorful flowers, provides a vibrant setting, while the Abbey's historic interiors exude a timeless elegance. This blend of natural beauty and architectural charm creates a perfect canvas for wedding photos.
Within the Abbey it has many rooms you can choose to celebrate your wedding day with your family and friends as well as the outside space that can be used all year round, whatever the weather.
The walled gardens are perfect where kids can freely dash and dart about. At this wedding, the bride and groom kicked things up a notch with incredible circus acts, bringing smiles with face-painting sessions, and capturing laughs with caricature artists. It was a festival of fun, making it an unforgettable part of the guest experience.
The Victorian Walled Garden
Delapre Abbey catering team has been recognised for its delicious food choices and catering is award-winning by the talented chef Bart The wedding guest's food was served in the drawing room with its soaring ceilings and beautiful period features.
The evening entertainment moved into the Victorian Bouverie room which can be used as a ceremony room today, it is where the Bride and Groom enjoyed their first dance then they were quickly joined by their family and friends to party the night away.
