Fawsley Hall has got to be one of my favourite Northamptonshire wedding venues. It is part of the renowned Handpicked Hotels group that own countryside hotels all across the UK. If you consider a Fawsley Hall wedding, you will feel that it is quite a magical place to have for your wedding day.
You will find Fawsley Hall nestled in rural Northamptonshire countryside. The extremely long, scenic drive gives you the feeling that you are going somewhere very grand and really special. When you enter the beautiful gates and enter the sweeping drive leading to the hall, you are not disappointed with the “wow” factor that this stunning luxury country house hotel has.
When I am at Fawsley Hall to photograph a wedding, I am always excited to arrive here as there are so many lovely locations to photograph couples on the stunning grounds.
It is a venue steeped in history and is rich in history and grandeur. Fawsley Hall was a royal manor as early as the seventh century. Royals hunted the area from the nearby Anglo Saxon palace at Weedon. It is even mentioned in the Domesday book as far back as 1086!
Where to get married at Fawsley Hall?
You have so many options of where to have your wedding ceremony at Fawsley Hall.
You may be looking to have your wedding ceremony on-site in one of the main house’s historic ceremony rooms, at the nearby St Mary's Church The Parish Church of Fawsley or in Knightley Court.
Fawsley Hall Knightley Court
You can say your vows in the Georgian Knightley Court, and it will be exclusive for your wedding for you and your guests. It has its own private bar and courtyard, which are perfect for your family wedding photos and confetti photos.
Its large dining room takes your breath away with its grand chandeliers and as well as stunning rooms for your ceremony and evening party. It holds up to 150 guests and makes an excellent room for your guests to be served great food, to be entertained and hear your wedding speeches and then turned into a party room for your evening party.
The Tudor Bar, which is in the main building, is often visited for the groom and his best man to enjoy a drink to calm his nerves before the wedding service.

Fawsley Hall has 60 bedrooms so your guests can stay and relax the night before the wedding, or can stay wake up the morning after your wedding in the Northamptonshire countryside. Fawsley Hall offers couples a complimentary Feature Room, making a perfect setting for the bride and her entourage to get ready.
The rooms are always spacious and have large windows, which fill the space with beautiful natural light for your bridal prep photos. There are still so many other places to photograph your wedding dress, wedding shoes and accessories.
Fawsley Hall CINema Room
There are not many venues that have its own Cinema Room. In the exclusive hire venue of Knightley Court it has its own private Cinema Room that holds up to 29 people.
It is a perfect to keep children entertained at your party when you can screen a popular film whilst your guests party.
