Plum Park is a beautifully restored Victorian manor house located near the Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire border, just outside the historic town of Towcester. As a wedding photographer, I’ve had the pleasure of photographing several weddings at Plum Park, and it’s easy to see why couples fall in love with this venue. From its elegant charm to its stunning surroundings, it provides the perfect backdrop for a memorable celebration.

As you approach this Northamptonshire wedding venue, the sweeping, tree-lined driveway sets the stage for a truly special day. Plum Park is part of the Venue Group who have nearby The Great Barn, Aynho, Oxfordshire.

Set within stunning Northamptonshire countryside, Plum Park offers breathtaking views across open fields, while its large back garden is framed by tranquil woodlands. I am located nearby and I am only 20 minutes away. This garden space also houses the dining room, a versatile area that can host up to 180 guests, providing a seamless transition from daytime celebrations to an unforgettable evening party.

As a Plum Park wedding photographer, I can’t help but admire the ceremony room—it’s truly showstopping. Surrounded on three sides by glass walls and topped with a beautiful roof lantern, this space is flooded with natural light, creating an airy, romantic atmosphere. The views of the garden beyond add to the charm, providing a picturesque backdrop as you exchange vows.

With its boutique hotel feel, Plum Park combines elegance with comfort. The venue features eight thoughtfully designed bedrooms, offering your closest friends and family the option to stay overnight and enjoy the celebrations into the next day.

For the morning of your wedding, the dedicated bridal prep room is filled with natural light streaming through its large front windows. It’s a spacious, calming environment where you and your bridal party can get ready, with plenty of room for hair and makeup artists to work their magic. Its spacious and gives it such a homely feel.

After the ceremony, it’s tradition for the bride and groom to step out to the front of the house, where guests gather to shower you with confetti, its that magical moment feel that you are have done it and you have done it!

From there, guests can relax with drinks on the patio with its own bar outside, or they explore the venue’s charming spaces. At this point I want you to take some time with your guests to have a drink to celebrate, while your guests congrulate you and spend some time with you.
